Some of you may now know that I’m a bit of a YouTube addict now and as I was watching some of the videos I subscribed to one evening, I stumbled upon a fun tag created by Fleur de Force and Talk Becky Talk and it’s called The Bedtime Tag. It was too cute to pass so I thought I’d do it as well. No videos from me (sorry!) but hey, a blog post should suffice, right? 😛
As the name goes, it’s all about bedtime and preparing to zzz.
Let’s get started!
I first heard about this foundation from one of Kristina’s YouTube videos (she’s from Pretty Shiny Sparkly). I thought it looked pretty interesting and had a good laugh when she took the wand out of the foundation and exclaimed at how big it was. When this foundation also landed on my desk for review, I must admit that the first thing I did was check out that ginormous wand and geez louise, it’s big!
Okay, let’s go back to the beginning just in case you’re wondering what the heck is this wand that I’m going on about. Here’s what Clinique claims: It’s a 2-in-1 liquid foundation and concealer that promises full coverage without the weight. It smoothes on as a foundation or spot-applies like a concealer. Hence the “magic wand” or as I’d like to call it “that freaking big wand”. 😛

A few days ago, I was going through my blog reads on Feedly when I stumbled upon a blog post by Rae (The Notice). She asked several bloggers this question: if you could start your blog all over again, what would you do differently?
I thought it was a very interesting question and it made me think about how my blog was when I started blogging about beauty in 2007 (I started a personal blog in 2004 but that was never for public consumption). Beauty blogging was such a niche topic back then even though it’s a very broad subject now. In hindsight, there were many things I wish I did differently. What better way to share them with you than in a Bloggie Wednesday post, eh?
Okay I know that this blush is probably talked half to death, which was why I wasn’t sure if I should do a review on it or not. When I showed my shopping haul in one of my email newsletters a couple of weeks ago (ahh one of the many extras that you’ll see only if you subscribe to BA Insider! *hint hint shameless plug hint hint*) and asked if you’d still like me to do a review on it, I received a good number of “yes” so here it is!
Paris B helped me pick this up in Malaysia. As my purveyor of fine goods, she knows what I want and when she was about to pick this up, she asked me if I wanted one too and the answer was a very enthusiastic affirmative. When we caught up in KL and she handed mine over to me, I have to say that in comparison to all of the Meteorites I’ve tried, this one’s TINY.
