If you follow me on my other Instagram account, @closetplanneraddict (it’s all about the love for stickers, stationery and my Etsy store), you’ll know from my weekly planner layouts that I’m very driven by tasks and checklists. I function well with them and it gives me immense satisfaction writing a tick on the box when I’ve completed a task. I know that there are umpteenth apps that can do the same thing but there’s something about physically putting a tick in the checklist or crossing it out with a pen that’s far more gratifying than merely clicking a box on an app.
Each day, week and month has a checklist that I try my hardest to tick the boxes off. Even though I know my daily tasks by heart, I still write them down, just to quench my thirst for putting the tick in the box. My productivity levels have increased significantly because of this, and the positive results I get are overwhelming. Who know drawing a square and putting a tick on it felt so good, eh? 🙂
