THE GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED. THANK YOU FOR PARTICIPATING!
I’m sure you’ve noticed this but in case you didn’t, pharmacies here in Australia has two different sections for the fancy-smelling body products and for the, erm, rather boring-looking ones. You’ll be hard-pressed to find Cetaphil stocked next to Dove or Palmolive. Brands like Cetaphil, Alpha Keri, Dermaveen, etc are usually on a separate shelf to indicate that their products are meant for sensitive skin compared to commercial brands like Dove, Palmolive, etc. Having said that, boring-looking doesn’t automatically mean that the products are sub-standard. In fact, if you do have sensitive skin, these are great brands that you should go for because they’re specially-formulated for sensitive skin.
I recently had the opportunity to try out products from Alpha Keri and I must say, I’m a convert. In fact, I may actually switch from my favourite Cetaphil to Alpha Keri because the latter has a wider range of products and they’re great for dry and sensitive skin too. I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but Alpha Keri recently had a relaunch of their products and design. Well well, boring-looking products no more, I say, because they actually look as well as they perform now. I particularly like their Skin Hydrating Body Wash, the Anti-Cellulite Sugar Body Scrub and the Skin Moisture Boost Lotion. They’re fragrance-free and gentle on the skin. Typical me, I’m skeptical about the Anti-Cellulite bit, but as a body exfoliator, it does a great job.
Anyway, on with the good news!
Beautyholics Anonymous has teamed up with the people Alpha Keri to give one lucky BA reader a chance to try out their products!

From a young age, my Mum always instil in us to moisturise our bodies as well as our face. Often, she said we forget and the best time to do it is straight after a shower; slowly massage the body cream in. Cetaphil and Alpha Keri has always been our go-to products in the family as my oldest girl has eczema and sensitive skin. I didn’t realise Alpha Keri has relaunched new packaging. I am keen to try their anti-cellulite products. Will have to check it out from the pharmacy
At the moment it’s a gradual fake tanner that I’ve been using on my legs by MineTan. They’re so pasty white I need some colour to look alive…not to mention it makes them look thinner =]
I would say a scrub it just makes your skin feel so fresh
I love Derma Sukin products. They are reasonably priced and feel lovely on my skin. The fragrance free options are especially good on the days I want to wear perfume. L’occitane products are also nice.
I would probably put body lotion/ cream but I realized that I’m using it wheter I like it or not due to my eczema/ dry skin. But I actually love love love body scrubs esp those with salt/ sugar & oil. I would love to use more frequent than what I am doing right now. And yes, after using a body scrub, my eczema/ dry skin better absorbs the what ever body lotion I use =)
Wow!!! But how can i take a part in this contest
My favourite skincare product is lotion. I always need to put back moisture in my skin after taking a bath/showering.
I used to neglect body care products until recent years when my skin have become quite dry, from head to toe. Nowadays it’s body lotion. Anything inexpensive and feeds my thirsty skin is my cup of tea.

I have been loving Garnier Beauty Oil Nourishing Lotion. The lotion smells lovely, which is great for summer. It won’t be enough for winter though, so will change what I am using for the cooler weather. Out of the shower, dry off and straight in with lotion. Only way to do it.
Kathryn 🙂
My favourite body care product are the in-shower moisturising body lotions, I love both the Nivea and Lush Ro’s Argan Body conditioner. It’s so quick and convenient, plus it means in winter I don’t have to be shivering trying to apply body lotion/cream after my wash. Who wouldn’t like an extra minute in a warm shower!
My favourite body care product is probably shaving cream + razor. LOL. Gotta keep them arm pits looking good 😀

Good quality body oils are the way to go and feel absolutely gorgeous on damp skin and absorb very well! My favourite and trusted brands are Bio-oil and Neutrogena!
My favourite body care product has to be body oil hands down. I’ve tried using different body lotions but still always find my skin dry and cracking during dry weather. Therefore, I tend to stick to coconut oil which does wonders for my skin so far.
I’m a sucker for nice smelling body wash that makes my skin feels smooth after shower. My favourite at the minute is dove intensive body wash..
My favourite body product is body lotion. My dry, itchy skin demands it after every bath or shower.
It has to be body cream or lotion. My skin is so dry and I’m constantly trying new lotion to see if it would improve…I use cetaphil too!
Quite a bit boring but it’s currently my QV cream that I use as a body moisturiser. I have eczema and so I have to use gentle products but it’s a lovely, thick and hydrating cream.
I live and die by Cetaphil. With my sensitive skin, I use Cetaphil for my facial wash and lotion. When the weather’s dry, I make sure to apply lotion all over to keep my skin from drying out.
I love the products from Avene, in particular the trixera emollient cream/balm for body, it’s very good for sensitive skin and deeply moisture the skin without feeling all sticky afterward.
Tough call but my fave body care product is sanctuary spa 4 day moisture body oil. Easy to use, fast absorbing, moisturising and has a light pleasant scent. Highly recommend!
I use Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse as a body oil, focusing mainly on my legs and arms an hour before bed each night. I love the scent and it leaves my skin feeling perpetually soft and hydrated. I go through bottles of the stuff but I think it’s worth it.
