Kit’s nail polishes hold a dear place in my heart. They’re one of the first items I bought when I first moved to Australia that aren’t remotely connected to drugstore brands. I’ve never had any issues with them and their colour selection is excellent.
Today I thought I’d show you another beautiful nail polish from Kit and it’s called Teal Appeal (part of the new Acai collection). That’s what the colour is, it’s teal. The biggest problem I have isn’t with the nail polish at all. It’s with the damn pictures I took of the nail polish. You’ll notice right away that it’s blue. BLUE blue. I’ve tried colour-correcting the heck out of the photos but they still turned out blue. Gah, methinks it’s time to recalibrate the white balance of the camera. Anyway, you’ll have to check this colour out in store because it really is teal (it has green tones) and it’s stunning on the nails.
Formula-wise, it’s typical of most Kit nail polishes. It’s easy to apply and one coat is enough to achieve almost opacity. In the photo, I only used 1 coat without a top coat (see how glossy it is even without a top coat?). It wears well with minimal chipping and tip wear.
Again, check it out in store for an accurate representation of the colour but it truly is really, really pretty.
Kit Cosmetics nail polishes retail at AU$15.95 each and is available at all Kit Cosmetics stores.
Have you tried any nail polishes by Kit before? Which one’s your favourite? Do you remember, they once had a collection where the top coat changes the colour of the nail polishes? Fascinating!
