I’ve been seeing this moisturiser going around in the blogosphere. Even Emily’s hubs, Tyler (from the very popular Beauty Broadcast) reviewed a couple of the moisturisers in the range. So when I finally saw this at my local Woolworth’s, I quickly added it to my shopping cart. After all, it is part of the groceries, isn’t it? 😉
I didn’t pick this up so much for me (I have enough body moisturisers to slather a village); it was more for Tim who wouldn’t touch my fancy-schmancy body butters or lotions with a ten foot pole. This is a spray, how difficult can it be to use, eh? 😛
This sprays on very easily. The instructions tell you to spray in straight line but I prefer not to do that because you get a lot of over-spray that lands on the floor. Not so good for us since our rooms are carpeted. I give my body random single sprays and rub the light lotion in. The scent is typical of Vaseline body lotions and for the Aloe Soothe, it was light and refreshing.
As body moisturiser sprays go, it doesn’t last very long. It does moisturise the skin but come midday, it’s pretty much gone and you’ll have to respray. It’s a decent body moisturiser to use in summer but I don’t think I’ll repurchase. Unless Tim uses this very regularly. Then it’ll be a miracle!
Vaseline’s Intensive Care Spray Moisturiser in Aloe Soothe retails at AU$9.99 and is available at leading supermarkets and pharmacies nationally.
I nearly bought but thought I’d wait for your review first! Might wait a bit then 😉
Haha did you end up getting it?
I bought this on sale at Safeway! You’re right, it’s groceries so it has to go in with my yogurt, milk and bread 😛
I love it for summer because it’s so light and it absorbs quickly without being sticky. I usually use the Nivea body condiitioner in the shower so this works very well with the Nivea. GOing to be a staple in my bathroom – I just wish it wasn’t so pricey – or am I getting my numbers jumbled up?

Hehehe yep and it also goes into the grocery bill. 😉
