I remembered the first time I met Yishan from Beauty Swatch. It was about 3 years ago and after following each other’s blogs that we decided it’s time we finally meet in person. Before Beauty Swatch, she used to blog on Akisa Love (now defunct). Her blog header had a picture of a very hot lady and I actually thought THAT was her! It was only after we finally met that she told me that that lady on her blog header was actually a Korean actress. Ooops! Oh well, Yishan’s one hot lady too. 🙂
When her ebook, Pout Perfect, was launched, I’m happy to say that I was one of her first customers. I’m always happy to support a fellow blogger (writing ebooks are not easy!) when I can, especially one I’ve known even before Beauty Swatch began. Having said that, I don’t rave about something willy nilly; it’s got to be good too. Here’s the thing. If you love lipsticks, you’ll enjoy Pout Perfect.
Pout Perfect is a guide to building your lipstick wardrobe. While Beauty Swatch is about helping you find your way through the lipstick jungle with so many lipstick brands out there, Pout Perfect shows you what types of lipsticks there are out there, pros and cons of each type of lipstick, suitable colours for different skin tones, how to take care of your lips and so on. It’s well-written with lots of photos of different lipstick colours and textures. If this was a coffee table book, I can imagine how gorgeous it would be.
Some people say that Yishan’s lips are too perfect and that it’s unattainable but I say that’s not true. When you take care of your lips as much as she does, you too can have gorgeous, plump lips (I’m still trying but laziness gets the better of me). I’ve been wearing lipstick for years yet I have lots to learn from her and the book.
The Pout Perfect ebook is available at Beauty Swatch for AU$9.99. For 2.5 cups of soy cap? Why not? 🙂
PS: I’m not compensated to endorse this book nor am I affiliated with Beauty Swatch (ie if you buy a book, I don’t get nuthin’). I bought a copy of the ebook with my own coin. Hey, if it’s a good read, it’s worth a mention.
Love that you share MBBE <3 ~
