Today I thought I’d have a bit of fun with a couple of beautiful nail polishes I recently stumbled upon, and that’s Sinful Colors‘ San Francisco and Blue By You. The mixture of the blue and green gave a rather lovely effect that resembles dichroic glass.
I’m by no means a nail art expert (for that, please refer to So Nailicious. Maria does stunning nail art!) so please do excuse the shoddy work, especially around the nail bed. π
If you’re a lot more steady with nail polish than me, do give this style a go. It’s pretty easy to do. Just paint two strips of colours on the nails without worrying about keeping the line in the middle straight. I like to dab the lacquer on to give it a stone-like wash instead of a straight swipe.
I really like the dichroic glass-like effect on the nails. In future, I’m going to try other combinations and perhaps use a toothpick to swirl the colours as well. π

Nope, don’t let it dry. Make sure it’s wet so that you can swirl the colours together π

Exactly! It’s just like Murano glass. I’m just referring to a cheaper version which is the dichroic glass π
