‘Tis the season for pretty, arty-farty nails, don’t you think?
This year, instead of the usual red, I thought I’d do something a little different. If people can decorate a white tree with dark and gold ornaments, who’s to say I can’t do my nails in black, gold and white?
As usual, when it comes to any form of nail painting that requires more than one colour, vertical stripes are the best I can do. And striped it I did.
Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in #170 Pink Slip
ck One Nail Polish in #910 Coal
Face of Australia Molten Metallics in Gold
I really like the look of this one. It’s very simple yet pretty. The gold strip cuts the black and white by adding a touch of chic to it.
And really, if Ms Shaky Hands here can manage this, anyone can.
What’s your go-to nail polish shade this holiday season?
I am very impressed, festive and classy at the same time!

Haha thanks Zoe. Best I could do
Beautiful! Do you drink? Don’t mind me saying, but the tri colours remind me of Guinness
Love it (other than the Guinness part), looks festive and pretty. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Tine! Been a good year reading your blog. Wishing you a blushful and coolsome year ahead
Good eye, Jennifer! It didn’t even come across my mind that it looks like Guinness!
Thanks so much for reading my blog and for the blushful wishes. Happy holidays to you too! xx
Very glam…love it. I was so expecting glittery red when I clicked on the title in my RSS….the gold stripe in the middle is awesome!
Hahaha glad to be different! I was originally thinking of doing something red but thought I’d try something else instead
