Garnier Body Intensive 7 Days Hydrating Gel-Lotion in Grape*
I love the original 7 Days body lotion by Garnier (the one with bright green bottles), and this does not disappoint at all. First of all, they’re cheap as chips for such a big bottle of lotion (if you get them from Chemist Warehouse, sometimes they can go on sale for less than 5 bucks. I once bought one for $3). It’s a slightly grainy thick gel that I found odd at first (why the grainy texture?), but the scent and sensation on the skin more than made up for it. The part about feeling the hydration up to 7 days after the last application is a bit of hokum to me, but if you’re looking for an affordable, decent and yummy-smelling body lotion, do check this one out.
The Body Shop Beautifying Oil in Olive
It seems a little strange to be buying body oils when winter is over, but this is so light that it doesn’t even matter when you use this. It’s a multi-tasking oil which can be used on the face, body and hair. I’m not too keen on using this on my face and haven’t tried this on my hair yet. On the body, oh yeah, it’s a good body moisturiser. It’s light and doesn’t leave the skin feeling greasy even though it’s an oil. I’m looking forward to using this on my arms and legs to give my skin an extra glow in summer when it’s tank tops and shorts season π
Shu Uemura Tsuya Skin UV Under Base Youthful Radiance Mousse*
I like their pink mousse base and this beige one didn’t disappoint as well. It contains light-reflecting particles that’s not over-the-top. I like using this under BB cream as a primer and also for added luminosity to my BB creams. Prefer not to use this under foundation as I find the combination a tad heavy on my skin.
Thalgo Firming Eye Contour Gel*
This was one of the prizes during the Flash Giveaway Week, and it has been my eye cream for the past few weeks. The cool gel reduces the appearance of my puffy eye bags, especially after movie and book marathons. As I only need so little gel per application, this is going to last me ages.
Tom Ford Cheek Color in 03 Flush
This was a just-because treat I picked up at David Jones. I was looking for the blush in Narcissist but since it wasn’t in store yet, my eyes strayed to this one instead. Tried it on, and it was love at first sight. It’s highly pigmented coral blush that gives the cheeks a healthy glow of colour. And yes, I’m aware I have heaps of coral blushes. What can I say? Moth to a flame, people. Moth to a flame π
Givenchy Le Prisme Blush in Blooming Fuchsias
This was gifted to me by Beetrice almost two years ago but have only started using this quite recently. Thanks to my makeup caddy, I’m now rotating barely-used makeup and discovered this tucked away in my dresser! The mix of colours creates a lovely rosy flush on the cheeks. Love the design of the compact, especially the 4 blocks.
Guerlain by Emilio Pucci Meteorites
I was worried that this might be too shimmery when I first bought this. Truth be told, I was suckered by the packaging, perhaps not so much by the balls :P. I’m glad to report that the amount of shimmer isn’t overwhelming (although it is still more than the conventional Meteorites) on my skin. I prefer to use this in the evenings when I like an extra glow. Funny thing though, I seem to be getting a lot of blue powder on my brush when I swirl it across the Meteorites but you can’t see any of the colour on the skin!
If you’d like me to review any of these beauty products in detail (lots of pictures and all that), let me know!

Ooohh! I’m a huge Tom Ford fan and I’d love a review of that blush if you get the chance!
Do you own any of the Tom Ford eyeshadow quads? That’s what started my Tom Ford obsession. I did swatches of Cognac Sable and Burnished Amber here:

Karima: I have the Topaz quad I think. Can’t really remember the name right now. It’s more of a neutrals palette. OMG your swatches are fantastic! How pigmented are the shades? Love love love. Let me know if you managed to get the blue-green palette (again, can’t remember the actual name). I’ve seen it on Temptalia and they are to. Die. For.
PS: Aww thanks for following, Karima! xx
The Givenchy Le Prisme Blush in Blooming Fuchsias looks so lovely with that tie-dye design. It looks so pristine although you said you have used it before.

Beauty Box: The Givenchy blush was surprisingly pigmented, which was why there’s no need to dig in with the brush. I’m glad it still looks barely touched π
That Givenchy blush looks gorgeous!

Issa: Oooh I hope so too. I think you’ll like it (the beautifying oil). Hmm there’s an oil mist too? I’d like to try that out! π
Oooh! The Thalgo eye gel looks nice. I will have to try it on my puffy eyes after a late night out. π
