I remember my very first blush. It was given to me by my mother about 10 years ago, from one of her gift-with-purchase packs. I don’t think it was sold individually as it was quite a small, square one. The blush was by Estee Lauder. It was a very subtle nude blush, and back then, I didn’t really know how to apply blush properly so you couldn’t really see I even had any on. It was also the only blush I’ve ever hit pan on.
When the new Estee Lauder Pure Color Blush in Blushing Nude Satin landed on my desk for review, I was very pleasantly surprised as the shade was so incredibly similar to that first blush I had.
As the name suggests, the shade is a subtle nude matte blush that is more on the rosy coral side. The blush is very fine-milled in typical gold Estee Lauder packaging. It’s not very pigmented, which makes it very buildable to how sheer or heavy the look you desire. It gives the face a lovely, healthy flush.
Big luxe packaging

Thanks Idaira. It’s a beautiful shade 🙂
It’s very nice but… AUD$60!! *cough cough* so expensive it hurts… I wonder if it’s sold in m’sia.
Milktea: Tell me about it. Definitely isn’t cheap 🙁 I think it will be available in Malaysia. Perhaps it’s already out? Australia usually gets last of the pick 🙁
I am glad you reviewed this. I hadn’t bought Estee Lauder in a long time and the EL lady saidthis was my perfect color. i have never had sucha light color as I have black hair and dark eyes. It actually looked right.
Clarissa: Me too. I’m glad Estee Lauder has moved away from the “auntie” style. Still luxe, but not old-fashioned. This blush shade is gorgeous, glad it looked good on you 🙂
