Happy hump day, folks! Two more days to go before the long Easter weekend. I can’t wait! π
Today, I thought I’d showcase some more bloggers who inspire me with their work. Do check them out, and I hope they inspire you too.
Blogger: Christina
What it’s about: It’s all about your hair.
What I like about it: I’m not usually a fan of hair blogs, mostly because 1) there isn’t many out there, and 2) the ones I’ve seen mostly only do product reviews on hair products and latest trends, which, to be honest, aren’t really my cup of tea. Christina, however, makes it fun. She does things to hair that not only gorgeous but highly achievable by hair n00bs like me. Check out her tutorials, or better yet, get her ebook. I did, and I had such fun replicating the hairstyles from her tutorials in the ebook.
A favourite post of mine: Behind The Scenes at Hair Romance. An interesting look into how she snaps the photographs used on her blog.
Blogger: Celina Lee
What it’s about: Makeup reviews, cosplay ideas and very interesting makeup tutorial videos.
What I like about it: I have the pleasure of meeting Celina at the first Melbourne Beauty Blogger Event in 2010. She’s such a sweet lady, is incredibly talented at makeup, creating costumes AND she’s a cool IT geek. Every video of hers on the Book of Fables blows me away. Her creativity and talent are simply amazing.
A favourite post of mine: All of her Book of Fables videos, but I particularly enjoy DoppelgΓ€nger Wars.
Blogger: Maria V
What it’s about: Personal style fashion, beauty and DIY experiments.
What I like about it: I met Maria very briefly at the Australian Beauty Bloggers Weekend in September last year, but I knew of her blog before it was on the attendance list. She’s one stylish lady with a gorgeous European accent. Her photographs are visually-stunning, and it makes me want all of the clothes and makeup that she has. That lady would look good with a sack on. To me, she’s Australia’s Garance Dore.
A favourite post of mine: Chanel makeup 2012 how to. Love the video.
Blogger: Cheryl Lin
What it’s about: A business fashion blog on workwear inspiration.
What I like about it: Corporate fashion blogging isn’t as big as personal style blogging, but I highly enjoy Cheryl’s take on corporate wear by the people of Melbourne. She snaps random folks in the city of Melbourne in their office gear, and you wouldn’t believe how incredibly chic and fashionable some can be at the office. She does not only photograph women, but men as well, and some of them were really cute π Cheryl’s currently doing a Little Black Dress Project where she wears the same black dress 52 weeks of 2012, but styling in different ways with accessories. I find myself looking forward to Fridays just to see what new ideas she’ll come up with.
A favourite post of mine: Clothing Exchange at LMFF. I’m really looking forward to checking the next Clothing Exchange event out.
Blogger: Kendi
What it’s about: Personal style blogging
What I like about it: I stumbled upon Kendi Everyday about a year ago when I randomly surfing from one fashion blog to another. Personal style blogging can sometimes feature outrageous fashion styles which may be all right on the runway, but maybe not so much in real life. Kendi’s style is certainly up my alley, and her choice of clothes and accessories would be something I would choose for myself too.
A favourite post of mine: Check out her 30×30 Remix series. In fact, it was during the time when she was doing the series that I stumbled upon her blog (at that time, I remembered thinking “hmm this lady doesn’t have that many clothes for a fashion blogger. There’s a lot of recycling going on there” :P). Great way to learn how to shop in your own closet to create plenty of styles.
Daaaaw, thank you Tine! You’re so incredibly sweet, can’t wait till I get a chance to give you a big big hug <3 <3 π

Tine, you should definitely check out Klairedelys on her youtube channel and website. She’s super creative and talented! Another one that stays as my beauty inspiration would be BeautyQQ. She’s not only inspirational in her beauty regimen but also in her life.
Love BeautyQQ, too! She’s just so…. HAPPY. Sometimes she seems jaded, lol. but I guess it’s because she just doesn’t care about lots of things (aside from staying pretty and keeping her pets healthy) to give herself more room to feel blessed and happier.

I do watch BeautyQQ’s videos from time to time. Love them, especially the DIY videos π
Thanks again, my dear for including me π Very motivating to know someone appreciates the effort I put in CrashingRed.
Off to check out Kendi’s blog… because other blogs I know and absolutely agree with you – they’re the best!
xx
