Do you wear glasses? If you do, especially the ones with thick sides (did a bit of Googling; they are called “arms” :P), here’s a tip/reminder for you: do remember to clean the insides of the arms before you put your glasses on after you have cleansed your face.
Often after a day with or without makeup, the arms of the glasses will have collected the makeup and grime from your face. You may not notice that the arms get very dirty if they are thin, but I’m sure you will if they are thick. Mine’s positively grubby with oil!
If the arms are thick, they attracts more dirt. The insides rub against your skin all day, and the foundation, powder and oil stick to the arms. The arms of the glasses have to be cleaned before wearing them after you have cleansed your face. If you put them on without giving the insides a clean first, you’re essentially just putting the grime back on your clean skin.
This goes to say that you should also clean the small rubber-thingies on the nose 😉
Have fun cleaning!
So true! I often have pimples at my temples and today my facial salon told me that milia seeds might also be caused by the spec frame!

Jacob: Well hello there new dude on the blog 🙂 Glad that this tip could help 🙂
The small rubber-thingies hold the most dirt in my case coz I’ve such an oily nose! They keep sliding down and having a low bridge makes things worse. =S

Bun Bun: Oh how I know how you feel! It happens to me all the time, especially when the nose is particularly oily that day, and you can feel the glasses sliding down repeatedly after you’ve pushed them up.
Ugh what about the green gunk that accumulates behind the small rubber thingies? YUCK!!
