This is something very few people know about (well, now you), but I simply cannot get dressed, get my beauty groove on without, well, getting my groove on.
I’m sure a lot of you have watched The Devil Wears Prada. It’s one of my favourite movies, especially the intro scene with KT Tunstall singing “Suddenly I See” in the background, and the gorgeous ladies are getting ready for work, putting their clothes and makeup on, etc. I remembered for weeks after that show came out, I played the same song on my iPod in the mornings when I was getting ready for the day.
I have a digital radio by my bedside which is also an iPod/iPhone dock. So whenever I’m putting makeup on, I have to tune in to bossa nova or samba music to shake my booty while I’m in my bathrobe or undies 
I don’t know why, but it makes me get into the mood of dressing up for the day or night. Sometimes I even sing to the music with my hairbrush as a mic 
What about you? Do you also shake your groove thing when you’re getting dressed and doing your makeup? Come on, it can’t be just me, can it?
Haha I don’t.. always feel rushed.
But now that you’ve mentioned this, perhaps, I’ll give it a go to see if it does put me in the mood. ;p
btw, I went to my Coles nearby but I couldn’t find the AUD2 nail polish you recommended.
Had the hubs and I hunting up and down, row after row.. LOL

p/s: I once get caught by my colleague in his back mirror with me impersonating some heavy rock band. I was deathly embarrassed for a while and promise not do it ever again. But heck life is short and commute just isn’t that fun if I don’t do that. So yeah if you some girl bobbing her head and lipstick in hand, that’s me!

Ooooh I remembered that scene in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. It’s hauntingly sad, yet beautiful.
i like the peaceful quiet in the morning, but i think im gonna start putting on music from now on, first choice up: all of norah jones music, love her voice!
