First of all, I wanted to thank you for all the lovely comments on my last FOTD post. I really appreciate all the encouragement you’ve given me 🙂
Today I thought I’d use my favourite eye makeup shade – green. To be honest, I’m not particularly keen on the colour in general, but when it comes to eye makeup, I find that green eyeshadows tends to make dark brown eyes pop.
By the way, this is my second attempt at trying out this look. I had to do a practice run the day before to make sure I get it right 😛

Revlon Age Defying with DNA Advantage Cream Makeup, Face of Australia Translucent Loose Powder, Revlon PhotoReady Concealer

What a pretty fresh face, Tine! Love the turqouise blue shade on you!
Jess: Thanks Jess! 🙂
I love greens on the eyes and I think on Asians it looks particularly good. Well done Tine! 😀 Now can I have a sneaky peek at the necklace in your last shot? 😉 p/s I’m rather liking the Revlon foundation tho I think it might be because I have drier skin?

Paris B: Hehe I agree! Green goes well with our dark brown eyes 😛
As for the foundation, it actually works quite well for my combination skin too. I like it for the slightly higher coverage than Bourjois Healthy Serum Mix gives me. The Revlon ones does give me a more dewy finish, which is why powder over it is a must.
PS: I twitpic-ed the necklace. You saw? 😛
Oo this colour is lovely on you Tine. Such a fresh, summery look 😀 Love to see more fotd~ x

You are looking great! I should practice some eye shadows too.. Hope I dont look like I’ve got punched in the eyes.. hee hee
Eunice: Haha thanks! It just takes a lot of practice, I guess. I, er, did a trial run on this look a day before I did it again and snapped pictures for this post 😛

Blushfully: Thanks C! Aww I’m sure you look great with green eyeshadow too. Hmm speaking of mossy dark green, I don’t think I have any of those. Time to hit the shops! 😛
What a hottie! xx
MsCritique: Aww thanks love. You’re a hottie yourself 😉
Very lovely green eye shadows! Inspired to try my hand at this…..I always mix my green eyeshadows with neutrals like gray or brown but predominantly green is a great idea!
Astrorainfall: Try mixing green with blue, or green with yellow. The results are amazing 😛
So very pretty! I have been going for green a lot lately too, it’s very wearable in my opinion. Love the way you’ve done your eyes, very sophisticated

Love love love – again. The green goes so well with your eyes and the blush on your cheeks!

<3 Green shadows! They're one of the few colors that would suit almost every skin tone.
Love the lip and cheek colors you chose to go with this look! Very Summery indeed!

Connie: Thanks love. You know that means a lot to me, coming from you, who knows heaps and heaps more than me in makeup. I go to your blog to practise the smokey-eye all the time 😛
I agree! Green eyeshadows make my brown eyes stand out too! That’s why I don’t do neutral/brown colors much coz my eyes look less outstanding in these combinations. I love bright, bold colors like green, purple, pink, orange, red, yellow. YAYS! Just typing these colors makes me happy. LOL!

Bun Bun: Oooh I’d love to try out those colours you mentioned! Unfortunately, as I’m always playing it safe, I don’t have fun colours like that, just mostly neutral ones. The most fun colours I have are the ones you see in this post 😛
Btw, I’ve been following your eyeshadow tutorial for Asian eyes. I think it’s great for n00bs like me 😛
Thank you for following my eye makeup for Asians series! =D I’m glad you like them! =D

Gio: Thanks Gio 😀
I missed seeing your gorgeous face Tine! you have such a happy smile and green shadows suit you!
Nikki: Coming from you, that’s a huge compliment. And you have the happiest smile I’ve ever seen 😉
love love love! I love your smile and it shows your really nice cheekbones! Nice FOTD! more please 🙂
Issa: Haha thanks lovely. I’m trying to come up with more ideas for FOTD posts, but really, my knowledge and skills are far too limited in that department. I’ll try my best! 😛
Beautiful! Love the liner too
Karyn recently posted..Friday Follies – 11th Nov 2011
Karyn: Thanks Karyn. Have you tried the eyeliner? I’m really impressed with it so far. I’m quite lousy at applying liquid eye liner, but this felt-tip pen makes it so easy to put draw, even with my shaky hands. The texture’s like a Sharpie on the skin 😛
Hey Tine! Keep ’em FOTD posts coming! =)
Btw – A little curious. What camera are you using for your shots these days? That looks like one big lens… =P
Syen: Thanks lovely!
The pictures are a mix of the Panasonic Lumix LX5 and the Canon 400D. The latter’s the big ol’ thing I’m holding in front of the mirror. Still trying to work the DSLR though, especially in macro shots. As I don’t have a macro lens, it’s not easy getting it right.
I found your blog through Cosmeddicted! These are lovely pictures, you are very pretty!
