I bought the Biore Cleansing Oil in January when I had a 4-week holiday in Malaysia but only started using it a few weeks ago. In fact, it was only when I started culling my stash of beauty products in order to store the ones I received at the ABBW, that I realised I’ve completely forgotten about this!
I find the cleansing oil slightly thicker in consistency in comparison to Dermalogica’s Precleanse. I reckon the texture is somewhat similar to Shu Uemura’s Cleansing Oil. However, I highly prefer this to Shu Uemura’s because this feels gentler on the skin, and smells heaps better.
What I like about this is that this is a high-quality cleansing oil at a very reasonable price. It removes my makeup well (even with full-coverage foundation) without stripping the skin and leaving it dry. I’ve even massaged this over the eyelids, and it didn’t sting my eyes. Plus it smells like green apples. Win, win and win.
I can’t remember exactly how much I paid for it, but I think it retails at around RM27 (approximately AU$9). I’m afraid it’s not available in Australia at the moment, which is such a shame. Although I suppose if it IS available here, it’ll probably retail well over AU$10. I’ll be sure to get me another bottle of this when I’m back in Malaysia at the end of the month 🙂
Are you a cleansing oil fan too? What’s your favourite?
SHU UEMURA!!!! Though I might change my mind and switch over to PreCleanse because I had a small sample of it and I love it 🙂

LeGeeque: I had a 10ml sample of the Shu Uemura. Meh only for me. The PreCleanse is nice. I think you’ll like to soothing smell 😛
i quite like this too, but upon discovering Hada Labo cleansing oil, I think i prefer Hada Labo’s one much better.

Plue: Ahh that’s in my next-to-try list, the Hada Labo. I’ll get a bottle when I’m back 🙂
DHC deep cleansing oil and Kose softysmo cleansing oil 🙂
Gaby: I’ve tried DHC, it’s not bad. Thanks for the recommendation on the Kose one, I’ll add that to my list to try 🙂
This is the one that smells of apples right? If it is, it broke me out big time 🙁 I stick to Kanebo for the most part now. I’ve figured pricey as it is, it works best for me.

Paris: Yeah, that’s the one. Aww shucks, sorry to hear it broke you out. Works swell for me. Which Kanebo cleansing oil are you using?
The Blanchir one – red bottle. I use the Kose Softymo range otherwise which is super cheap but impossible to get here.

Paris: Oh yeah, I remembered that one. Used to use that too. Asian brands here are ridiculously expensive. It almost cost the same dollar for dollar 🙁
kose speedy cleansing oil <3
Shirley: Thanks, something new for me to try 🙂
I have one of this too. I tried the wipes first and it took off all the make up, including Majolica mascara which is really difficult to remove. So bought a bottle of cleansing oil too but have not got around to use it yet as I have not been using make up lately..
Eunice: I’ve tried the wipes, and I love it. Gotta remember to buy a big pack of it when I’m back 🙂
I love using oils and using baby oil or even vegetable oils removes makeup really well and keeps skin in an awesome condition 🙂 though I haven’t till today used any specific cleansing oil…I did make one using castor oil and almond oil which worked fabulously!!!

Swati: Ahh that’s something I haven’t tried. I’ve heard that olive oil and baby oil remove makeup well. Not sure if they’re too heavy for the skin though. I’ll give it go 🙂
OoOoh smells like green apples … SOLD!!!
