For the past few weeks, I’ve been reserving Wednesdays for articles just on blogging. Here they are again in case you’ve missed it:
- Serious About Blogging? Try an Editorial Calendar
- A Beauty Blogger’s Media Kit
- Where Do You Get Your Blogging Ideas?
- How To Backup Your Blogs on Blogger and WordPress
I’ve received lovely comments and emails from several readers on how they found those blog posts immensely useful. I was delighted to hear that because that was my aim, to help a fellow blogger along her blogging journey.
I’m hoping to make this a regular feature on the blog, which I am going to call Bloggie Wednesdays. Every Wednesday, I hope to write about blogging, tutorials, tips, interesting reads, etc, on how to make us better bloggers. I’m by no means an expert; most of my material are either from experience (good and painful) or sourced from the big blogging guns. In fact, it’s still a learning process for me, after all these years. This is something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time now, in hopes of helping those who are new to blogging or serve as a refresher to seasoned bloggers.
Here’s where you come in. I would like to know – what would you like to know more about blogging? Is there something you want to implement in your blog but don’t really know how to? Confused about certain techie bits in your blog? Feel free to let me know in the comments or contact me directly. I’ll try my best to answer your bloggie questions 🙂
Oh, this is excellent! I really appreciate your generosity in sharing your experiences and tips 🙂 I don’t really have a topic in mind but love everything you’ve published so far.
Lyn: Aww thanks Lyn, I really appreciate that. Makes me so glad to know that what I write helps people in small ways 🙂
I have a gazillion bloggie questions to ask you, my beauty blogging guru. Feel free to answer them or ignore them in future posts – will look forward to Wednesday posts from you and thank you in advance…
1. So, I arrive at your blog and leave a comment – and what do you know? My details are already saved!! How did you do that?
2. I still dont get the photo hosting sites vs hosting on your own server. The probloggers says use photo host sites…but most beauty bloggers I know use their own server. What to do?
3. People often say their website is down…or have downtime – how do you know when that happens?
4. What are we looking at in Google Analytics? It’s all mumble jumble to me.
…and erm, yes…I shall stop there and bombard u again later 😛
Ling: Oooh thanks heaps for the questions! I was kinda running out of juice of what to write about. I’ll get cracking on those in future posts 🙂
