Methinks it’s time to do monthly shopping haul posts, not to brag about what I bought, but to show myself I buy too much and need to cull my purchases. My tiny home doesn’t have enough space to keep the stuff I buy!
SASA.com
I bought some Naruko skincare products and BeautyMate facial sheet masks. Val‘s been raving about them for ages, and I knew I just had to see what the fuss is all about. They’re looking good, very good so far. Delivery took about 3 weeks. Sasa threw in free cotton puffs and a heart-shaped purse with the order too. Review to come in a month 🙂
Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation
The word ‘gel’ had me at hello. Review to come soon!
BeautyBay.com
The uber popular top coat, Seche Vite and the highly coveted Urban Decay NAKED eyeshadow palette. Just as BeautyBay tweeted that the NAKED palettes were back in stock, I pounced like a ninja.
Vitamin E cream
For the operated-on boob’s gnarly scar.
Soap & Glory Hand Food
Does the sweet marshmallow scent appeal or repel? Review to come soon!
NARS blush in Amour
I bought this right after I found out that Mecca Cosmetica has dropped their NARS prices. Amour is a gorgeous matte peachy pink. I’ve been wearing it daily, and I love it!
Not exactly beauty-related, but I’ve been wanting to get the Royal Doulton candle in Cotton Blossom for a long time now (it smells amazing), but I just couldn’t justify a $30 candle. Thanks to Chadstone’s VIP Shopping Night on the 25th, I got this at half price at Jacqui-E. Score!
Geez papa cheeze, I really overdid it this month (>.<) Cut back! Cut back!
Haha, I think beautybay has been getting heaps of traffic and sales coz of Naked!
Celeste: I know, right? It’s either that, or do a mail forwarding thing with Sephora. Or may pay crazy prices on eBay (I don’t like the palette THAT much to pay such exorbitant prices on eBay, thank goodness).
I love invite-e. try the oil! I’ve been using it on my face under moisturiser for a couple of weeks now and results are ammmaaazing. more potent than the tube!! =) hope those scars are on their way to disappearing real quick for you!
Emily: I actually have the oil, but thought I’d use the cream on the boob, and then top it up with Bio Oil. Don’t want an oily boob with two different types of oils *LOL*.
LOL I get you, thanks for the royal doulton rec! I went into Jacqui-E during my lunch break and they’re still on sale for $14.95!!! yayayayayay!!! =D smells lovely I want another jar.
Even if you went a little crazy, how much fun! Looking forward to seeing some of your reviews 🙂
Sara-May: Hee hee, oh it was fun all right, especially the part where the postie surprises you with a new parcel day after day. Whee! 😀
Awesome haulage!!! Also very curious about Naruko…cant wait for your review 😉
Ling: I think Val has reviewed some of their products before. Go check it out. I started using the serum and moisturiser, and OMG, instant love. And so cheap!
Great haulage, can’t wait for the reviews! 😀
Jade: Reviews coming soon ! 🙂
There is a Bourjois Healthy Mix GEL? I love the normal one but will wait for you to tell me how the gel one fares. As for Amour OMG I love that one! It was my very first Nars blush! Gotta go and dig it out 😀
Paris B: They call it a gel foundation, but it isn’t technically a gel. It’s slightly lighter (only just slightly) in consistency compared to the other Bourjois foundations. Still, I think it looks fab on the skin and holds well. Oooh Amour was your first? It’s gorgeous!
Love your haul there Tine.
Keen to see how the candle and Seche Vite go with you.
Lilpil: Thanks Amy 🙂 Just a quick one – the candle smells glorious and Seche Vite is the best topcoat I’ve ever used. Gives a beautiful glossy finish to the polish and it dries ever so quickly.
Oooh, nice haul! Can’t wait for your review on the Bourjois gel foundation too. I recently got one from Hong Kong and I do like its lighter texture to the original.
Lyn: You got it too? Awesomesauce! I’ve had a play with the other foundations but found the gel one (again, not technically a gel, but you know what I mean) lighter and better for my combination skin.
oh, do you think gel foundation is the best for combination skin? too bad, i just asked my cousin to buy me a liquid foundation …
Issa: To be honest, I’ve never tried any foundations that have a gel-like consistency. Even this Bourjois one is described as such, it’s still liquid, albeit a slightly runnier one in comparison to other Bourjois foundations. Having said that, gel products have a high content of water to products, say cream. So yes, I believe it’s best for combination skin. I cannot vouch for this Bourjois gel foundation yet because I’ve only used it twice (although I have to say, I’m quite impressed thus far) 🙂
thank you so much! looking forward to your reviews! 🙂
wow, that was many! will wait for your reviews! 🙂
Issa: You said it. It’s a LOT. You don’t know you bought that much until you do a post like this, racking your brains on what you bought, and then the total comes up, and it’s WOAH 😛
Reviews coming up!
yeah gel? cant wait for ya review! good to hear its for combi skin, plus for me!
xoxo elle
Elle: I’ll use it a few more times to warrant a proper review. Stay tuned! 🙂
love your haul! Can’t wait for the reviews.
Gio: Coming! Coming! 😛
Oooh! Nice haul. I absolutely love Hand Food. Hoping you like it too. =P
Syen: Hee hee, no spoilers. Not yet 😛
Oooo nice haul, Tine! I’ve been eyeing Soap and Glory stuff and that Bourjois Foundation. Look forward to your reviews.
That blush from NARS is a gem….such a beautiful colour!
I know it’s not a month yet but I really can’t wait for your review on the Bourjois gel foundation haha. Especially when there is a 20% discount now.. I kept playing with the tester but then I still can’t decide whether I should stray from my current ZA 2-way foundation (works well for me now and just bought a refill) 😐
just bought the naked palette and found out that they’re releasing naked palette 2, so annoyed with myself!
