The year started off really slow for me on the beauty blog front. And I mean, REALLY slow. For some reason, I completely lost all interest in makeup. New makeup launches, no matter how beautiful they were, did not excite me at all. Blog posts were also very sporadic. I was on the verge on shutting the blog down, it was that bad.
Things started to pick up a little after I attended Primped’s Lookbook event at David Jones. Had a bit of a celebrity-sighting moment when I saw Yaz (editor). Got all giggly like an schoolgirl. Tsk tsk.
I have to say, what really kicked it off for me was the Melbourne Beauty Blogger Event (MBBE), which was organised by Val. Truth be told, I am exceedingly thankful to her for motivating me to keep beauty blogging. Met a lot of wonderful ladies, some of whom I still catch up with on a regular basis.
After the MBBE, my social calendar went up the roof. It was madness. Utter awesome madness.
Elite Hair and Makeup Academy/Paintbox Cosmetics Makeup Master Class with Justine Poniris (director of the academy).
Social Diary Christmas Party as Val’s plus one.
MBBE Christmas lunch at Stef‘s*
The icing on the cake was the wee mention of my blog in January 2011’s Australian Vogue. I was over the moon.
Thanks to the beauty blogging community, it ignited my love for makeup and beauty once more. Made more friends who shared the same interests as I do. Gained readership (thank you dear readers!). Met new people. It was an amazing experience.
This will be my last post for 2010. I cannot wait for 2011 and what it holds for me.

I hope that 2011 will be better.I hope there are no more oil spills in the world like there was with BNP in 2010.I pray that 2011 will be peace on Earth.
I’m so glad #MBBE is bringing all these gorgeous and lovely ladies together. Most importantly, I’m so glad you’ve found your blogging mojo back.
Looking forward for #MBBE take 2 in 2011?
I hope to read more on your blog… a total noob in make up although I am already 26!! =p Doesn’t help that I’ve relocated to Brisbane with the bf and don’t have any girl pals to have make up sessions with. =(
Happy 2011!! =)
You had a very good year Tine and I have a gut feel that 2011 will be another blast!
