Winter often wrecks havoc on my skin. Showering in hot water, outdoors with the chilling wind against my skin … these factors contribute to irritating my skin to no end. The redness on my cheeks became more apparent on colder days, making them dry and sensitive.
Description:
An exceptionally gentle and calming fluid designed for intolerant, easily irritated skin in need of peace, comfort and soothing hydration. Combines natural spring water and calming extracts of Chamomile and Calendula with moisture-repairing plant oils to help calm your complexion and protect the weakened skin barrier of sensitive skin. Use alone as a light moisturiser or before Very Gentle Moisturising Cream for added comfort.
This serum feels like water for the dry and thirsty. It’s light in texture and easily absorbs into the skin. The days when I get breakouts or stinging on the skin from goodness-knows-what, I whip this baby out, slap it on under some moisturiser, and all’s right with the world once again.
I sometimes use this during the day alone, without an added moisturiser. It’s basic enough to hydrate and moisturise the skin during the day, but not heavy to be layered with moisturiser if you want to. I highly recommend this serum for those with sensitive, easily irritated skin. It’s gentle enough to apply over breakouts without stimulating it further.
Trilogy Sensitive Skin Very Gentle Calming Fluid retails at AU$43 for 30ml and is available at MYER, David Jones and selected pharmacies.
What I like about it: Gentle yet moisturising on dry and sensitive skin. Calms the redness on my cheeks when I’ve been outdoors, in the rain and/or wind.
What I do not like about it: Nothing
I think this is so what I need at the moment
I love Trilogy but it is so pricey in Japan… Your review made this serum very tempting though!!
I tried this and didn’t really care for it much, it sort of smelled off, and didn’t do anything for my skin unfortunately.
I adore this too! It’s great when my skin is tight and inflamed
