Description:
Micro-fine crushed cocoa beans gently exfoliate, removing dead skin cells to reveal smoother skin beneath. This enhances the skin’s surface allowing it to better absorb the daily moisturiser or night cream.

First impression of the scrub? When I squeezed some out of the tube, some translucent fluid came out first before the brown scrub. Okay, this is going to sound pretty disgusting, but I just can’t help it. It bloody looked like diarrhea.
Sorry if you’re eating while reading this review 😛
HOWEVER.
The scrub may not be physically appealing, but the texture against the skin is good. It contains micro-fine cocoa beans, so there aren’t any thick granules in the scrub. I really liked how fine the exfoliating bits were, and when massaged gently on the skin, my skin was left smooth and soft.
This is, by far, one of the best scrubs I’ve used. It does not look appealing, but it certainly works very well. The scent is similar to Palmer’s Gentle Daily Cleanser; mildly of cocoa butter and not revolting 😛 (just in case you haven’t heard, I abhor the smell of cocoa butter).
Like the daily cleanser, this too costs AU$10, and is available at selected supermarkets and pharmacies. I highly recommend the scrub. Just try not to care too much about what it resembles at first 😛
What I like about it: Very fine exfoliating beads, good and inexpensive scrub.
What I do not like about it: It looks a little like poo.
Thanks for the review Tine! I cracked up when you mentioned it resembled diarrhoea.
My HG facial exfoliator is Estee Lauder’s So Polished Gentle Exfoliating Scrub – every time I use it, my face feels like a baby’s butt!
sounds like something that I’d like to try. it looks like bird poo! Lol
thanks for the review, Tine 🙂
thx for the review 😛 actually it reminds me of bird poop more 😛 or stale oatmeal.
