When it comes to your beauty budget, brushes are the best place to splurge. The difference between using a good quality makeup brush and a cheaper version is like cashmere to cotton. Choose your brush to fit the purpose: goat, squirrel and pony-haired brushes are soft and kind when applying powder foundation, powder eye shadows or cheek colour.
On the other hand, synthetic fibres work wonders for liquid foundations or more precise lines around the brows and eye line.

So true a good brush is a great investment, it is really vital in good make up application !
My brush collection has well expanded but I’m still kinda stingy. so I usually hunt for good individual brushes instead of just settling for a brush set. Some expensive brushes are rip offs though! MUFE has such horrible powder and blush brushes. so scratchy! ick!
i do agree with getting good brushes.
but of course, get good brushes which are cheap! 😛
i usually do tat and sometimes they work even better than the more expensive ones!
Nikki:
Indeed! However I’m still too stingy to actually invest in a proper set. Mine are bits and pieces of this and that :p
Connie:
My sentiments exactly! (about the individual brushes, I mean) I’ve never tried out the brushes by MUFE. I shall keep your opinion in mind when I do check it out. But yeah, good brands do sometimes sell shitty brushes.
Plue:
Good on ya when you find good and cheap ones 🙂
