September’s issue of Shop Till You Drop was awesome. Check out the freebies* I scored from the magazine.
A 1.2ml vial of Elizabeth Arden’s latest fragrance, Mediterranean Breeze and a free makeup lesson from Benefit, after which, you get a cute travel-sized tube of Benetint. The tiny Benetint even comes with a brush, just like the full-sized one. The perfume was lovely, and a perfect size for your purse.
I highly recommend going for the makeup lesson and Benetint from the Benefit counter at Chadstone’s Myer. The lady who attended to me, Mimi, was really nice, introduced me to a few Benefit products (I think I wanna get That Gal, High Beam and the yummy fragrance, Maybe Baby, now. Uh oh), and did a great job on the makeup tips and makeover. And never once did she pressure me to buy anything. That’s service, baby.
Quick, go grab an issue now! 😉
*Sorry, folks, Australian readers only.
*pouts* I want that mini Benetint too…. I’ve always wanted a Benetint but while I was working at Benefit, I had actually spilled a bottle and broken another one within 2 months :p I’d be crying if I had to pay for it. I’m sticking with my Origins Pinch Your Cheeks which is more suitable for my butter fingers
I want it FREE on my magazine subscriptions too!!!!! ohhhh i want i want i want!!!
oOo i didn’t know this month’s STYD came with so many goodies!
how long was the makeup lesson? 🙂
Connie:
It’s so cute, isn’t it? I left my full-sized bottle in Malaysia, and this came in such a good time. I still prefer the Benetint on my lips, and Posietint on my cheeks though. The latter looks more natural.
Ouch on the spillage of the Benetint! Can’t imagine how to remove that stain 🙁
Askmewhats:
Haha, everyone loves freebies 🙂 These weren’t enclosed with the magazines though. I had to go to the shops to redeem the freebies. Oh well, anything free is good enough 😉
Cheeeezie:
Quick go grab an issue! To be honest, it wasn’t that much of a makeup lesson than showing you how to use their products. You’d have to make an appointment at the Benefit counter for the makeup lesson though. Remember to ask them for the free Benetint, because when I went to collect mine, she had no idea that she was supposed to give me one. Apparently they have so many different versions of vouchers; it confused them :p
Oh and to answer your question, it takes about 15 minutes 🙂
omg so cool! i am a sucker for freebies! but magazines here don’t give out cool freebies like that, even some sg mags do, why cant we have it here 🙁
I’m a tad concerned on using Benetint on my lips though since one of the ingredients is sodium hydroxide which can be lethal when ingested. A strong base that we used in chemistry class back in high school. Lol. It’s just a small amount but the Benetint is definitely not safe to drink! Lol
The Benetints spilled all over the floor and the stains removed with A LOT of rubbing alcohol!
