Deep conditioning treatments can be great for your hair – and not so great for your face. If you are prone to acne, be sure to keep hot oil or other heavy conditioners away from your bangs and hairline.
I’d suggest you to do this in the shower. Apply the hair treatment, wrap your head in a warm towel, allow the water to wash off the access conditioner on your hairline and face, do a body scrub, shave your legs, cleanse your face, and do whatever it is that you do in the shower … AND THEN only wash the conditioner off your hair. The running water will keep the conditioner off the hairline and face.
Note: Since I read a lot of beauty magazines and beauty books (thank you, Borders, and your read-while-sipping-coffee-and-don’t-have-to-buy-the-book-if-you-don’t-want-to policy :p), I shall share the many beauty tips and quotes that I found useful with y’all. Skincare, makeup, hair care, body care, you named it. And add my 2 cents, of course :p
I do that! I have shower cap handy and would use a shower cap while I wash the rest of the body 🙂 VOILA! softer hair!
yeah! i usually keep a shower cap on my head too after i have conditioned it 😀 then i will go into my room, sit and watch some drama on my comp. hehe
I do the same! Looks like everyone has the same ideas..=)
