Description:
The fluid oil dissolves even waterproof makeup and pore-clogging impurities and blackheads. Once your fingertips start feeling grainy, rinse it away. The natural plant oil leaves the skin feeling soft, moist and baby-smooth.
My take on this cleansing oil? MEH. The oil is not as thick as the Kanebo’s Freshel White C, thus it needed a few more pumps of the oil to thoroughly clean the face. Thought it was a bit of waste to use so much oil to clean off my makeup.
Speaking of which, Za’s Deep Cleansing Oil claims to remove stubborn makeup, even waterproof mascara. Well, I tried removing my waterproof mascara after a wedding dinner – no such luck, mister! I even tried gently dabbing the eyelashes, and pressing them between my thumb and forefinger with the oil for a minute first to remove the mascara, and very little came out. I had to do it many times before they were finally removed. You can imagine several hairs came out as well 🙁
Would I repurchase this? Nope. It’s not very expensive; it’s certainly cheaper than Kanebo’s Freshel White C cleansing oil, but to have to use so much oil for one wash doesn’t sound so cost-effective in the long run. Once this is finished, I’m going back to me Kanebo, that’s for sure.
Za’s Deep Cleansing Oil retails at RM23.90, and is available in any Watsons or Guardian stores.
What I like about it: Me no likey this cleansing oil.
What I did not like about it: Needed to use quite a lot of oil to clean off my makeup; Did not remove my waterproof mascara as well as it claimed.
i think u won’t be able to finish the whole bottle due to frustration hehe
ever tried shu uemura’s cleansing oil? some claim it to be THE cleansing oil…
thanks for the informative post
I think ZA has to improve many of its products.. I’ve found some of its products NOT satisfying.. i’m not going to purchase any of ’em, again..
I have tried Za powder, toner, whitening series and hydrating gel. None of these are good enough though their prices are reasonable. All made in Thailand. I almost bought the Za cleansing oil but ended up with Kanebo Freshel Oil instead and I bought 2 bottles for a 1str try!
How is the Kose Fasio perfect cleansing oil compared with this? Fasio is even cheaper at about Rm35 for 230ml! May buy one today to try. It is the only item in Fasio cleansing range Made in Japan.
