Description:
- Revolutionary ultra-light “micro-thin oxy powders” blend so well onto your skin that how many layers you apply, your flaws are perfectly covered but your pores are never clogged. Truly fits to your skin and never feels cakey or powdery.
- Exclusive “pink pearls” especially designed for Asian complexion, neutralises the dullness of your skin tone for a translucent radiant finish.
- Contains camomile essence, royal jelly and Vitamin E.
- This product does not clog pores and is dermatologist-tested.
I bought the “Natural Ochre” shade, which suits my skin. The two-way cake is quite fine upon application, and does not look cakey (very important for me; I hate the cakey look as that would emphasise whatever lines I have). It’s quite long-lasting too; I had it on all day at work, and did not fade off.
This two-way foundation also contains SPF22/PA++, which is also another plus point for me. The compact’s not too big, which makes it easy to bring around. Plus, I like the pink case :p
The product does warn users that it contains royal jelly, which could cause anaphylactic shock for those who are allergic to royal jelly.
You can apply dry or wet: dry for oily to combination skin for a light and natural coverage, and wet for normal to dry skin for natural and long-lasting coverage. Blend evenly using a sponge with smooth, gentle strokes. I like to apply a very thin layer of foundation on my face first, just to even out the skin tone, before applying the powder on my face (dry method). The overall effect is quite natural.
The foundation comes in six shades.
Maybelline’s AngelFit Flawless Affinity Foundation retails at RM39.90 at all participating Maybelline counters.
What I like about it: Does not clog pores, nor gives you the cakey feeling. Contains SPF. Oh, and did I mention I like the pink? :p
What I did not like about it: So far, nothing. Yet.
Whee! Sounds like a good cheap find! 🙂
yeah yeah i like the case too! i saw it earlier on but was hesitating to buy it or not, i seem to have enough foundation.
Paris: Yep yep :p
Prettybeautiful: Haha, tell me about it. I have a lot of foundation too, but I just couldn’t resist :p
Sounds like a good foundation. I wonder do you use Mascara? if you do, which one will you recommend? I don’t really like waterproof type as difficult to take it off but at the same time those don’t want to have ‘Panda eyes’
Thanks

Gunners: Hi, thanks for dropping by 🙂
Yep, I use mascara, but only for the evenings, or when I’m going out with friends, etc (not to work, as I need to be as fuss-free as possible). I like mascaras by Maybelline the most, as they pioneer in the best mascaras at a budget.
To be honest, I didn’t like waterproof mascaras as well; thought they were difficult to remove. But after an incident of mascara running down my cheek when I got caught in the rain, I said goodbye to non-waterproof mascaras forever :p
I use Maybelline’s Sky High Curves Mascara (waterproof) as it gives me the length and volume I want. I’d recomment Great Lash Mascara for you (they do come in a non-waterproof formula too). Makeup artists love the Great Lash :p
Do give it a go, and do tell me how it went. Good luck! 🙂
dropping by. =)
i just bought it yesterday. attracted by its “specially developed for Asian women” and pink color casing. (although i’m not pink color lover) it’s nice! i bought the “Natural Ochre” too =) used once, so still don’t know it suits me or not. hope it satisfies me ^.^ by the way, it’s my first foundation ;p i’m still new in make up. hope can learn something from you~
Janice: Hi there, thanks for dropping by 🙂
Oh snap, good to hear you got it too! Well, I’m quite liking mine so far, so let’s hope it’ll do the same for you too.
Ahh first foundation eh? Double snap :p Don’t worry, we’ve all been there. Just one word – EXPERIMENT!! Try ’em all out; you don’t have to pay much to get good foundation 😉
Aww I’m not some kind of beauty expert; we’re all here to learn from each other, no? :p
Anyways, hope to see more of you here soon. Your blog’s so pretty btw (even though I can’t read Chinese. Hee hee :p).
is angelfit flawless affinity foundation and oil-free formula?
Anonymous: Yeah it is an oil-free formula. Well, it seems oil-free to me; it works for me as I have a really oily nose 🙂
Thanks. Cos i was afraid an oil-based foundation will make my pimples spread… have a hard time clearing them.
Btw, is angelfit Flawless Affinity Foundation the same as angelfit ultra natural luminous foundation? looks the same to me.
i really love it!love it love it! 🙂
hi,i bought this foundation just now and learnt through Internet that the light pink ochre is not suitable for blemish skin. is it true? actually i want to buy natural ochre but i change my mind at last minute because i like pink.so worry.what should i do?Any advice?or you think pink is ok for my blemished skin?
Lim: Hi there, thanks for dropping by. My sincere apologies for the very late reply to your question.
I would not recommend foundation or powder with pink undertones if the skin is suffering from blemishes and acne. It would only enhance the redness, and the point of foundation is to even out the skintone, not make it worse.
Do try a neutral colour instead. If you must get the pink, then I would suggest concealer to hide the redness first.
Good luck! 🙂
now selling at RM34.88 at guardian stores… and a new liquid foundation of this range… at RM35.90
Hi, i just bought this foundation. 🙂 its my first foundation by the way. Im totally innocent when it comes to the make up department. I bought Natural Beige Ochre B02, but I got depressed coz the shade is too dark for my skin tone… 🙁 i ended up looking very dark… what shade do you think i should get should i get one shade ighter or two shades lighter? im confused…. (@_@)
Hi! is the natural ochre the OC3 tan shade? im thinking of buying that shade but im not sure if its lighter or darker than B02? help! thank you! 🙂 -carla
Dennise:
Just wondering if you tried out the foundation before buying it? Do try it out on your jawline (not the back of your hand) to find out which tone matches you the best. Try mixing the foundation with some moisturiser to lighten the shade. If it’s not possible for you to try out the foundation before purchase (that could be possible if you’re getting it online), if the colour’s far too dark on you, you might want to try a shade or two lighter. I’m afraid I don’t have access to the range of colours of the Affinity foundation here in Australia as they’re not available here, so I can’t help you there. Do let me know if you need more help, and I’ll direct you to someone who’d be able to help more, k?
Carla:
Sorry, Carla, I don’t have access to the range of colours of the Affinity foundation here, as they’re not available in Melbourne. Might I suggest asking Paris B from mywomenstuff.com? Thanks, and sorry again.
Hi,
I’m new to this website, so I’m not really sure how things work here. Anyway, I posted 2 messages on the tagboard mentioning that I am selling my Maybelline Angelfit Foundation (powder) refill for $10. I see that you girls like this product quite a bit! The shade of the refill is light ochre – OC1 (for fair-skinned Asians). Anybody interested to buy it at only $10?
PS I bought the refill in 2007 in a bundle with the one in its original casing – haven’t finished using mine! So I am selling the refill pack for only $10 (it has not been opened before – still sealed up in air-tight plastic).
Ling 🙂
i using this product..so damn good!
