Hello there, dear readers!
First of all, welcome to Beautyholics Anonymous!
I’m Tine, and I’m the editor for the blog. Well, I’m the blog’s photographer, reviewer, purchaser, what have you. A one-woman show, so to speak :p
I enjoy writing about beauty products (I enjoy reviewing them, so bring ’em on!), makeup, skincare, health, fashion … well, anything related to the double-x chromosome. I do not work in the beauty and fashion industry; it’s just a great interest of mine.
I’m vain, I’m narcissistic, I’m addicted to buying (and hoarding) beauty products and and I love shopping.
Ladies, I’m a beautyholic.
Well, there isn’t such a word, but I reckon that’s what I am. I love trying out new products (if I can afford them).
I think this could be a great place for all beauty bloggers, beautyholics and shopaholics (you know who you are! :p) to exchange valuable tips. You never know what you can learn from one another. I sure learnt a lot from all the beauty blogs and websites I frequent. And believe me, my daily beauty blog reads are close to 50!
Just a bit about me – I hail from Malaysia, but recently moved to Melbourne, Australia. It’s a new chapter in my life which I embrace with a bit of apprehension and lots of excitement. Anyways, having said that, the products I review will either be from Malaysia or Australia (unless specified to be from another country).
My blog focuses on Asian women, which I think is a good thing, as more often than not, a lot of Asian women complain that they can’t seem to find beauty products suitable for their olive skin. There are so many out there, just waiting to be discovered. I can’t wait!
All the reviews which I write here are based on my own experience with the products, based on my skin type (combination skin). I’m pretty blunt with my reviews; if I like the product, you’d see me gushing about it. If I do not like it, I will not mince my words. As much as I can, if I’m paid to do a review, I will disclose the fact. Most of the products which I reviewed are self-purchased or gifts. However, I do receive products meant for review purposes, which will also be disclosed.
I hope to write more on fashion too; fashion which suits real women. My blog’s motto? Beauty comes in all sizes, not just a size 2. So no tiny pieces here, ladies. Let’s be proud of our bums 😉
For more information on anything beauty-related, do check here often. There’ll also be giveaways, etc, once I get sorted on that (do be patient with me). Till then, I’d love to hear from you.

i want to use makeup but i’ve never tried anything but nail polish. pinks are in for me right now,
